Parenthood Survival Box is a monthly subscription box full of helpful items for babies and parents to help get through the early months of having a baby. The nice folks at Parenthood Survival Box kindly sent us a box to review. The box can be customized by gender or you can opt for the general neutral option, if it’s a surprise!
Boxes are $39.99/month
We were excited to review this box even though we’re not expecting. We were curious whether it would make a good future baby-shower gift though, and luckily, it arrived a day before a good friend’s shower, so we were able to test it out!
I had to add this one too. I call this picture “How I know my cat is plotting to kill me.” Or, she must not love subscription boxes like I do.
Here’s the first look into the box. I love that the Parenthood Survival Box comes with a letter explaining each item and why it was selected. I think this is a great touch- especially for gifting this box to new parents!
Here’s what we received in our box:
Angel Dear Swaddle Blanket – Value $16
I was trying to think of excuses to keep this one, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have even covered half of Auden’s body. This blanket is so nice and soft! It’s made with 100% pre-washed cotton muslin, and I love the owl print too! We could’nt wait to gift this to the momma-to-be!
Hey Diddle Diddle Indestructible Book – Value $4.95
Auden had a couple of these and we loved them- you can rip them, step on them, whatever- and they don’t tear! We’ve actually gifted a couple of these already, so we were excited to see this product in the box!
Chill, Baby Pacifier – Value $10
This pacifier is silicone and BPA free! Auden never really took to pacifiers (sometimes we really wished he had) but I think this is a hilarious gift. Love Fred products, they’re always hilarious.
BabyLegs Legwarmers – Value $10
These are so adorable. I wish this trend was around when Auds was a baby, I see it all the time now and love it!
Parents’ Night Out Pad – Value $6.50
We actually own this Pack this! pad, and I can’t live without it. I’m incredibly forgetful and unorganized and I always forget something that needs to be packed.
The last time we went on vacation, I couldn’t find my “packing” pad and I had a mental breakdown. Well, that and I while I was packing, I found a tick on me and I have never encountered a tick before, and Greg wasn’t home so I had to pull that sucker out myself. Ticks+disorganized packing = nervous breakdown.
This box made a great baby shower gift, and the box had a great value in our opinion too – nearly $50 worth of baby and new parent items for $34.99.
What do you guys think of Parenthood Survival Box? Would you gift one to a new parent?
