Julep is a monthly nail polish subscription box service .  You take a short style quiz, find out your beauty profile, and get those product selections every month. (They have 5 different variations to chose from: Boho, Bombshell, Classic, It girl, or Modern beauty). I was matched up with Classic- does that surprise anyone that knows me? 😉 Julep lets you change out your box selection each month, or skip a month, or even choose to order the entire month’s collection!

Cost: $19.95

Coupon: Use code “FREEBOX” to get your first box for free! (Shipping and handling is around $3-4)

Here’s what was in my box:

First, an information/welcome card explaining the style I chose. Pretty dead on. I’m not sure if I’m practical or just cheap, but I tend to stick to non-trendy, classic neutral colors of clothing and accessories, nail polish included. But sometimes I wish I was a little more brave/outgoing.

The first thing we tried (I recruited my sister to help- girls night fun in a box!) was the Instant Warming foot scrub. LOVED IT! Julep allows its customers to add more products to their order each month by selecting from several “Add-Ons” at a deep discount, and I will definitely be ordering this.

ImageI was expecting it to be slightly warming, but its more of a bath-water hot- so cool! And it exfoliated really well, leaving us with nice, soft, just-had-a-pedicure feet! I only wish it was a bigger size sample!

Next we used the Mint Condition Pedi-Creme, which was a full-size bottle and made our feet/hands nice and soft.

I received two nail polishes, a deep red, and a really pretty pink:

ImageI didn’t really care for the red color. I would consider it “classic,” but it’s too burgundy for me. I would maybe wear it for Christmas or Halloween if I was a vampire or something. I don’t usually do crazy colors, but I wish I picked the “It girl” instead just to get the beautiful glitter color that comes in it. So we both picked the pink color.

Here it is:

Our thoughts: It looks great on, and seems to stay on well! We both loved it and had a good time hanging out and give ourselves mani/pedis. Definitely a must-have box if you have two sisters!
